QUALIFIER FORMAT
QUALIFIER EVENTS
Qualifiers will be hosted by approved Producers throughout the year. Producers reserve the right to set the fees, format and payout of their events. We will grant 1 Finals Qualification per 20 teams entered in the event. Positions will be awarded to placing Average Teams. For example, if 60 teams enter the event, the Top 3 in the Average will be awarded Finals Qualifications.
Contestants must have a current Junior World Team Roping membership, and a Global Handicaps Classification prior to competing. If you do not have a WSTR, USTRC, or other Global Handicap Classification ID, please visit globalhandicaps.com to purchase a membership and be assigned a Classification.
EXEMPTION EVENTS
We have had several requests to add “Exemption Events” to the schedule. While we are happy to accommodate these nominations, please keep in mind that these are NOT actual Junior World Team Roping Qualifier Events! These events are “nominated” events, meaning if you compete and win, you provide proof of the results to Junior World Team Roping and we will grant you an Exemption. You do NOT have to get any information from the Producer of the event! Results are available on the Global Handicaps app after all events.
You cannot purchase memberships at these events. As with all Junior World Team Roping Events, you must purchase a Membership online here.
*Exemption teams will still have to pay a fee to enter the finals, however the fee will be 1/2 of the normal entry fee.
